Blog Response to Let Students Innovate by Dominick Recckio, May 18, 2012

I appreciated this article because it was from a student perspective. Dominick’s plea to allow students to have an active role in innovating things in the school hit a nerve with me. It is important to include students in some aspects so that they can feel included and learn how to make a contribution. Instead of constantly being dictated it is important to use this opportunity to teach students how to use their brains and successfully contribute to any environment that they are a part of. The ideas he shared were cool. I have heard great things about Google Docs. I am glad he shared his ideas!
