Blog Response to “Education: The Single Most Important Job” By George Lucas 5/8/12

Education is the most important job. Everyone who has made a significant impact in this world all had some form of education. I liked George was honest about his experience with education. Different people need different things. I think that with so many things changing rapidly in our society, especially with technology, it is important that our classrooms evolve as well. The video with the success story of one struggling school exhibits this clearly. What I faced in school is totally different from these kids are facing and there has to be a new way to approach these challenges to life and learning. I applaud the leadership for recognizing the issues and I applaud the staff for being willing to change. Change isn’t always easy but it tough situations it is necessary.
